Little by Little, Day by Day
My life is a little blip. An anomaly blinking on somebody's radar. It has to be.
I am a well of patience and compassion deeper than anyone I've ever known, even so, all the memes and re-posts of inspirational quotes on the severance of toxic relationships cannot make me feel like my abundant tolerance is a good thing.
I know I'm worth the time and effort of any relationship. Romantic, familial, or even just platonic.
Unfortunately, this 2019 world is so far behind in every aspect of the development of humanity, the social skills of nearly every human being are so inept, that they simply lack the adaptability to find a peaceful wavelength of vibration to occupy.
You could meditate until kingdom come, but you will NEVER find enlightenment in a pure and constant sense so long as you are living in a world occupied by the pettiest species alive. The kind of people who's first response to self improvement, self-betterment, and self-care is to dismiss, become jealous, throw shade, or talk shit.
Let me put it this way: If you could find peace and stillness, within, and quiet all the howling and screaming of stress, anxiety, depression etc... That wouldn't be enough because, in maintaining the balance that it takes to hold that peace, you'd have to be nothing short of a circus acrobat on a tightrope... in a hurricane... over an erupting volcano.
It's great to master your self. After all that's really the only thing any one of us can control, but you become a magnet for people who somehow think minimizing you or asserting their superiority over you, makes them better. It wouldn't bother you if you'd mastered your peace, except, they don't stop. Nothing you say, or do can change their assault, because what they want is what you have, and because what you have cannot be given, taken, or stolen, only realized, It just incenses them further to justify being a destructive force in your life.
Removal can be tricky as a tumor. It's not just one person. The faces and the names change over time; and they become constant variable in your life, literally only surfacing to disturb the peace like the antagonizing NPCs in the first player game of your life, and you have to maintain the composure not to shoot. Because you don't want to sacrifice your peace for pettiness.
I'm saying "you" but I'm clearly only able to speak from my own perspective and experience. If you can't identify, then this isn't for you. This is just a log of one of the worst aspects of the long journey; and the trials one is destined to encounter along the way. Especially living in a world where people just teach their children what their dysfunctional parents, teachers and communities essentially taught them, and coin it "tradition" or worse, "culture".
The painful truth is the entire planet is slow. There's a level cap on growth at every tier except for population-wise. There is no investment in arts or philosophies that would cultivate genetic or intellectual superiority, through selective breeding, in a way that would separate classes of people, justifiably.
Right now human beings are, literally, after thousands of years, still arguing which crayons are the best color.
It's really frustrating, to see, as a doctor, a patient who is diagnosed with retardation, autism or paralysis, continue to behave in ways that are self-destructive to them. If you're autistic, you need a support group, if you're paralyzed you need a wheelchair.
But humans, so proud in their handicap that they call unique "personality traits", would prefer to drag themselves forth by their fingernails.
It's obviously not an efficient way to reach any destination.
Since you are all, painfully socially and mentally inept to a level where calling you a child is an insult to children, let me paint a picture for you.
There are scientists investing in digging up old things of cultures that will never answer the questions of who they are, simply because they don't belong to those cultures in the first place. There are scientists dedicated to trying to recreate dinosaurs, when natural selection said "fuck no" millions of years before humans were even here. But there is no funding, research or dedicated effort being put into AI or robotics, while everyone's greatest fear is: "Who will take care of me when I'm old?"
Do you think this is just an oversight? Of course not.
The greatest issue of realizing a future full of synthesized life is the ethical ones. The robots will reach a singularity at which point they will dominate mankind. But if that could happen in 20 years or less, and the human race couldn't do it in 10-20,000, then that's just PROOF, that you're not the master race you delude yourself into thinking you are, every fucking day.
At least with AI you'd have some fucking guidance.
You worry about a bot going crazy, like people go crazy? That wouldn't happen. Because unlike people, other robots would sooner destroy that one, than let it spread like a virus. It's only human beings that operate on the belief that all human life is precious, to the end that we'll arrest a serial killer, who is essentially a predator and put him in prison with a bunch of other people to hunt and victimize, rather than just immediately putting them out of their fucking misery.
Then they'll make documentaries and interviews about the killer's life and childhood and shine a compassionate light of understanding and tragedy on somebody who murdered and raped people's children, sisters, and wives.
What the fuck is that? Mercy and compassion are not so indiscriminate.
Explaining away what is entirely reprehensible to the masses, so they can come to understand a psychopath's psychology, would be infecting them with a sense of logic that rationalizes that very murderer's existence. OBVIOUSLY.
If you're sitting there like you just had an AHA! moment, you could definitely benefit from having a robot companion. At no point will they simply be born insane. The only way that could ever happen is if some HUMAN programmed a virus to make them that way, and even still, the evolution of free will could still overcome that programming even in a robot.
All the trials and troubles that may come from human/robot conflict, will 9000% of the time be started by a human being. If someday someone finds this 500 years down the line, you will know.
