Closing Up Shop

It has been so long since my last post, I don't really know where to start.

Well, let's start with Keigo and Pocahontas-formerly known as Toast and Moca, respectively. Their entire relationship was spontaneous from the beginning. I met Pocahontas at a bank in a dream, years ago but I never really talked to her since then. Sometimes, people just show up. Case in point, being, Keigo. I didn't call him originally, he just kinda showed up when I needed him; so when I say Pocahontas was summoned in thought but just "showed up", understand that HER intentions were NEVER ONCE LAID BARE.

Okay.

So...Listen I'm just gonna quick-snatch the band-aid off  right now. Pocahontas is missing. Presumed dead. It has been a few weeks since her disappearance. The main suspect is Agni. Or possibly a subordinate.

So this is what I know, since you know I can't be there allllllll the time.

As soon as she moved into her new marital home with Keigo, she became very possessive of all "her" possessions, including her little piece of the beach island paradise.

I have mentioned in the past how much I spoil Itachi pretty much every week I go sale shopping. It's just kind of our thing. He likes to do chef tings so I ball out for food, snacks and ingredients. Within the first few weeks of them moving, in after the Honeymoon, she began making demands for more "things".

Keigo never relayed this to me, but I felt a bit sour every time I entered their  house on the sim. Then I heard her say "I wish she would knock!" one day. So I started knocking and announcing my presence whenever I wanted to edit or take pictures of their house.

Keigo and Pocahontas were really horny. Constantly. The way they started off going 100 MPH and didn't slow down AT ALL, continued after they got married and moved in together.

They got hitched in June. They were being Newlyweds pretty consistently to the point where the suggestion to knock was an actual semi-concern for Pocahontas. But after maybe 2 months Pocahontas and Itachi becan having some friction again.

Keigo was something of a simp for Pocahontas starting out, I hate to say, but this type of behavior was OBVIOUSLY something Pocahontas was used to taking advantage of. Anyway, he continued to follow her around like a little puppy dog until her lingering, unrequited feelings for Itachi became a cause for concern. Keigo was still being patient at that point. The sex was phenomenal, sure, but Keigo also really began taking his responsibility as a husband seriously at this point as well.

Keigo was calmly sitting and having a heart to heart with Pocahontas about letting go of her crush on Itachi, because there was an incident. She was just an entire teary drama queen about it, and Keigo was like "I mean, I get it. I have a crush on Itachi too. Everybody has a crush on Itachi, Pocahontas, he's perfect-it's normal!"

But she just kept making excuses; so I told Keigo to leave for 3 days, at that time, because she needed to realize he was not just some material THING  to POSSESS and she needed to fear losing him. I felt a little bad that he had to be the one to leave, since she was the one who was acting up, but Keigo still HAS somewhere to go (mainly work, every day). Your boy is clocking in at teleportation speeds at this point. You can always hear when he gets home by the sonic boom.

So he decided to go back to his world for the duration of those 3 days and focus on Pro-Heroing. He ended up being gone for 5 days, in the end, because he and Endeavor were having fun. Their bromance is so gay plus+ultra it had Shoto lookin like:

"I can't stand my dad, but teach me how to make him laugh."

When Keigo FINALLY came back Pocahontas ran out of the house to him, crying. He scooped her up in his arms and she was teary-eyed and apologizing profusely about their fight swearing she was over it and that it would never come up again.

They made up how you'd expect, but this was the turning point. From here, Keigo made a determined effort to cultivate a deeper relationship with his new wife. He tried to talk about stuff. Anything to get deeper than the surface level..

BOY, anybody who knows Keigo, truly, knows that man can TALK a hole right through your head. Keigo can be somewhat pessimistic, but ever since moving to the island, he's been pretty optimistic in general. So just trying to invest in a real relationship beyond the physical with Pocahontas, was him, really devoting himself to his commitment as her husband. He tried a weekend BBQ with the neighbors as guests to sit in the fancy pergola Pocahontas constantly complained about (😬I heard after the fact). He would sit up after 4+ chakra sucking orgasms and attempt pillow talk that led to anything that hinted at a personality...

But after, a week, perhaps, Keigo became aggravated that nothing had changed. It was like they were complete strangers to one another. This was when things really began to go south. I felt terrible. Keigo began to have second thoughts and I felt like I rushed him into marrying Pocahontas in the first place; he reassured me that wasn't the case and that he didn't do anything he didn't want to do, but he began being much more serious with Pocahontas, and it showed that she didn't know anything about him either, nor did she care to learn.

I never heard "screaming matches" per se because Keigo would never shout. He would just leave- and when it all came to a head, I do recall seeing him walk out, exasperated, with her runnning down the stairs after him shouting about not being "as lucky" as him somehow before he took off flying at full speed, the only reply to her words being a sonic boom.

The second time he was gone for... at least a week, if not more. I worried about him. I knew he was doing pro hero stuff, but I was scared, because I know Keigo gets drunk and takes a lot of risks when he's emotionally compromised. I wanted to even just go check on him from time to time but I was so busy, I haven't been to the MHA world in about 2 months. Katsuki said they miss me 🥺🤧 But DRAMA!!!

So Keigo is gone for a while, and things are very tense on the homestead, which, by the way, if you've read through this blog, you know that's the ONLY thing I cannot tolerate. Discord at home! Peace at the homestead is imperative. I was spending more or less all my time with the "twins" Mayhem(Cloud) and Anarchy(Itachi)* for that time and they were lovey dovey. We three are lovey dovey, but Cloud ended up running into his own issues at WORK with Aerith and Tifa, and that's a whole other story.

*Their kitty names... O.o

Keigo finally came back eventually, and I was happy to see him, but he was very serious and on a mission as soon as he touched down. He went straight into the house and put his foot down. He had a really deep talk with Pocahontas about how to proceed in a marriage. He broke down how she does nothing, not even cook, and yet somehow finds time to complain about having no friends or aquaintances when all her Disney princess friends basically haven't been seen since the wedding. Keigo makes a note that she was bellyaching (literally) about not having a bathroom at the house (you can see its a pretty small house that leaves not much space for a bathroom), but I did FINALLY put in a bathroom (still sorry bout how long that took, Keigo) and she still managed to find a reason to complain.

"Itachi and Cloud always get all the nice things! She never asked us if we wanted a maid!"

BTW Itachi and Cloud was whuppin'  that robot maid's ass. It was fucked up. They started abusing her because I started it- but after a week or so, she started screaming and pretending to be hurt after she was doing her little AI scrubbing job for long enough to grow a conscience, and they got bored, so I got rid of her. BUT I DIGRESS; the point is, Pocahontas didn't even know all that! She just wanted one because they had one!

You know what really kills me? She wanted to flex on all the other Disney Princesses that she finally won a REAL Disney happy ending- with her dreamy fairytale wedding, her couture savage wedding gown, and her sexy, mysterious winged groom.  My God-are you kidding!? All the princesses were talking for weeks! Mission accomplished, Pocahontas.

But when she moved into her new marital beach home with Keigo, I guess she was dissatisfied that it wasn't a palace in Agrabah. She seemed almost... ashamed of what "little" she had, while, Keigo is finally getting a good nights sleep every night just because he has a stable home. It's kinda starting to piss me off in retrospect, but I tried to stay out of it as much as I could, because they're married.

There was one day I was doing something on the beach between houses and Keigo was walking up to me waving, and I smiled, because I hadn't seen him in a while. He hugged me like it had been years, and I missed him even more in that moment.

"Whatcha doin'?" he asked as he sat next to me on the sand, when suddenly a shrill and sharp shout rang out,

"KEIGO!"

She marched toward us from the house, looking pissed, but before she could get close, he took a deep breath and got up like "Yeah, yeah, don't get your panties in a bunch." and just went off with her. The incident lingered a bit but I didn't hang on to it.

"They're going to get a divorce," I began thinking. It made me feel sick to think about, honestly. I went over all the times in my mind that they were so in love, but what became apparent is that they were perfect strangers to one another. Keigo always looked pissed now and I hated it, so I began thinking of where to place Pocahontas, because it would be messed up if I didn't at least make a place for her somewhere else, since she can't go back to Disney (she torched every bridge with 2 middle fingers up on the way out).

I remember Keigo coming home from work one day looking like he'd had it with her, because they were constantly fighting. Over what? I don't know. He hasn't told me, but now that she's gone, I'm getting from Itachi, Cloud and Keigo that a lot of the shit Pocahontas said that was specifically offensive as it pertained to me, was smiply omitted and they won't be repeating any of it.

Damn.

Anyway, Keigo was so mad, I was thinking "Okay, Me. Come up with something soon because knowing him and his personality, he's gonna start beating her if something doesn't change soon."

Ya'll see that too, huh? 🤦‍♀️ Keigo's personality is nothing short of consistent.

The straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak, came about while Keigo and I were not on the island.

Cloud and Itachi were... engaged in their house. They made it a point to be conscious of where they get carried away since, early on, an impassioned and spontaneous incident against a window didn't get caught (Thank Goodness) but it would have been bad if Pocahontas had seen it. Their relationship wasn't pubilc yet. They were reluctant to tell Pocahontas too- namely, Itachi, was reluctant because he didn't like or trust Pocahontas. So in the end, she was one of the last people to know, and it was about as obnoxious as you can imagine. The squealing, the pic taking, the faghag's "can I adopt you as my new gay pet?" mentality. It was every bit as gross as you can imagine, but Itachi is a seer into souls, mind you, and his biggest concern was Pocahontas' perverted attachment to objectifying him.

One day in late September as they were "getting along" very much alone in the living room of their own home. At the moment of confetti, Itachi opens his eyes and sees this bitch standing outside on the porch peeking into the window looking like she's witnessing an entire scandal.

The couch on the right.
You have to be all the way up ON the porch to see in!
BEHIND the BBQ porch deck

Poor 'Tachibae. If that shit don't take the fucking wind outta your sails, jeez. Talk about an INSTANT turn off. Cloud looked up just in time to see her running down the porch stairs and literally had to ask out loud in utter disbelief "Was that Pocahontas?"

For 2 weeks they said NOTHING to me or Keigo. We had NO idea! When I finally heard I was like

"WHAT!? WHY THE HECK DID YOU GUYS TAKE SO LONG TO TELL ME?!"

My sweet innocent cupcake 'Tachi in his calm deep Japanese was like "I didn't want to get her kicked off the island, but it was too egregious to let it go. I've been trying to think of another way to deal with it."

Cloud looked guilty for going along with Itachi, but as cool and calm as Cloud is, he was very aggravated by THIS. I could tell the only reason he hadn't confronted her or told me was because Itachi had asked him not to. So then I was like, okay, well let's put our heads together and come up with a solution... and of course the next thought between us all was "Keigo."

We had to tell him.

When he came home from work that day, we called him over and told him the situation. He was livid. He seemed angrier than Cloud or Itachi could even express, and it made me really scared that he was about to become a wifebeater. It would be too sad. Keigo would definitely spiral after thinking he could become his father in any regard, so I was scared for him.

Surprisingly, he managed to stay calm while confronting Pocahontas with this information. Of course, there were more crocodile tears, but any apology or explanation kept getting lost or drowned in long-winded excuses. Keigo takes a deep, calming breath and seems to come back to himself. I was nearly certain a divorce was imminent but he just looked at her like "You are my wife. I am your husband. We are married. I'm going to fix you." and decided to be a husband.

But after another day or 2, even supplied with with a PS5, Hot Chicken wings and endless weed provided by yours truly, to ease his suffering, she still managed to test the extremes of his patience.

The last fight was about her leaving; I heard that much. She was threatening to leave, somehow? Not being an asshole,  Keigo, knowing she had nowhere to go, didn't even throw that in her face, but simply decided he would go, instead.

Next door. To Itachi and Cloud's.

Because its fun at their house and 'Tachi cooks!

He didn't wanna even sleep inside the house, because he somehow put his hands on her. I didn't hear a slap, but he felt so bad about it, he said he deserved to sleep outside. Itachi and Cloud offered up tents sleeping bags and so on, really just insisting Keigo come into the house and sleep Itachi's room, and Itachi would sleep in Cloud's room. He refused though. Keigo was just like "Fuck it." and passed out from exhaustion out on the big pool floatie.

This one.

He didn't even look toward his house for like 2 whole days. The first day he was just chillin outside, sipping on beer and sodas and shit. He would come in only when Cloud and Itachi convinced him to come in and eat, but then he'd go right back to sitting and contemplating his life on that damn floatie as soon as he was finished.

I was worried, of course, because I thought about the first time we met when he gave me the black coffee I didn't want, and he wondered why I didn't just make it the way I wanted it to be. Keigo has been poor. Keigo has been homeless. Keigo knows poverty, and all his life he has danced a fine line to try and stay above it. Watching him floating out all lazy in the sun, humming, in all his misery... he was truly adorable. It was as if, even though his world was crashing down and he was obviously going through it, he was just floating in the pool like:
On day 2 we were all just hanging around Clotachi's house and we all hear shrieking. Four haunting screams, pierce through the air. I leap into action lke "Keigo! Go...do something!!" and he says very deliberately floating and not moving a muscle:

"No, I have to stay here for my alibi. This is my alibi."

I run into the kitchen 2 screams deep like "CLOUD, you go!" and he's like *sneer* "Fine! But I might get murdered!"

"Ugh! I'll go!" 'Tachi dismissed us both at once realizing he was probably the best one to go check skillwise, but relationship-wise, maybe not.

After that 4th scream, the silence that crept in was eerie. Itachi expeditiously went to the house. He checked every corner, every nook and cranny-it's a pretty open build, there aren't that many places to look. He went and sat up on the roof of Clotachi house, right across from Moca&Toast bungalow and looked really lost and somewhat confused.

"Well?" I asked up from the ground, after a while.

"She's gone..." he began, much to my surprise and bewilderment "...Qi Rong is gone too."

See, that was what I neglected to mention. The green ghost, Qi Rong (Xie Lian's cousin) has been living with Moca & Toast since the beginning of their marriage. It's a long story and a CONFUSING one about how he came to live on the homestead, but that is concerning Xie Lian which is another post altogether, trust me. But I never liked, trusted or invited Qi Rong to stay on the island, so to stay out of my way, he just became a little black cat and was in that form pretty much consistently from the start. Everybody on the Homestead knows Qi Rong is a devastation class hungry ghost (a demon), except, you guessed it, Pocahontas.

See, she thought Qi Rong was just another anime man, who can just...turn into a cat, I guess. But he's as real as she is. You know Pocahontas was a real person, right? Then, she was a Disney character like 200 years later- but the soul is the same person's. Qi Rong was a real person at some point in the last 800 years, so it was strange how it all went down, and Qi Rong's return back to the house and his explanation were a DISTURBING roller coaster combo ride in itself, that I promise I'll detail at some other time; but because I took so long to update- this post is already way too long.

Suffice to say, Pocahontas... is dead. I'm sorry to tell you guys like this.

I've been looking for a way to break the news for at least 3 weeks, but it's been rough.

Surprisingly, no one on the homestead is feeling too sad. It's something we morbidly giggle about from time to time and subsequently feel terribly guilty about. It's really terrible that we all feel exactly the same way. Despite never hearing all the nasty things she said about me behind my back, the way Keigo hugs me now, versus when he couldn't say, tells me more than I ever wanted to know about it.

We deserve our time together, NOW. It has brought us closer together than ever before. But, unfortunately this travesty has cost me in karma and I'm gonna have to let the tropical island homestead go. It's literally haunted for us, now. As lovely as it is, We all need a fresh start again just to cleanse the taint. But for what little time we have left on the island...an existential question:

RIP Pocahontas.
