Vice & Advice (Working Title)
Since I have no other way to express myself at the moment, I've begun channelling my creativity back into writing.
Lately, since I have so much frustration, I had a little trouble coming up with a new story to work on, in terms of character-building but the bones of it are pretty good so far.
The goal for me, actually became to write a hentai that had a plot too. It's a work in progress, but I've at least done the character descriptions, even if their arcs are still a ways off.
First up we have the main Character:
Gable Solo (Angela Pleasant) is a 21 year old college senior when she unexpectedly drops out of the University of Britechester mid-year to move to Sulani, a tropical beach island, with a boy she just met and starts calling herself "Gable". She was always considered the "good one" between she and her twin sister Lilith, but as she gains a bit more freedom in her young adult life, her poor decisions eventually affect her entire family and even her friends.
Lilith Pleasant, also 21, is attending the Foxbury Institute, separately of her identical twin sister, to establish her individuality, but also to meet new people who don't know her sister at all. Where Angela is very playful and has never taken anything seriously, Lilith is very much the opposite. It became obvious after they graduated high school, that Lilith was just as academically gifted as Angela when she wasn't in direct competition vying for their parents approval. For 4 years since they've moved into the family-owned home in the college town of Britechester, the twins have attended separate universities full-time until a family tragedy brings them to an inevitable confrontation concerning family money.
Tomoya Kamo (secretly Hitomi) is a 17 year old brat from a highly respected and mysterious (old money) socerer clan. She is actually the only child of the clan leader and his wife, but as she is not particularly gifted in the clan's abilities, she has a chip on her shoulder. Her older half brother is the bastard of a mistress, yet, in line to become the clan's leader while she's determined to prove herself and earn her family's respect. A display of her ability gets her expelled from school and then disowned by her entire family, but Tomoya is convinced that they just don't understand her ability as quite yet, so she maintains that in the interest of training her sorcerer power she will eventually earn her family's acceptance. While living with her boyfriend after being thrown out of the Kamo family home, Tomoya meets Gable at a support meeting and the two of them become friends.
Alexander (Alex) Goth. The 22 year old Esquire magazine cover of what a successful intern looks like. Alex swooped in to save Tomoya as soon as he realized her family name was money, however, he is a fresh college graduate with high aspirations for success in Bridgeport, ESPECIALLY where his own family's name is concerned. He has a reputation to maintain for the sake of his family wealth shareholders and so, their relationship is a secret, until she can restore her own family honor. In the interest of helping her along, Alex is simply trying to lead by example. He is childhood friends with both twins and a paid intern and personal assistant to The Devil in Prada Socialite Arashi Muzaán.
Arashi Muzaán (Indigo Ra/Arashi) is the household brand name of the PREMIER haute couture Fashion and Fabrics Atelier and 37 year old CEO Indigo is Its new private majority owner. New to the business scene of Bridgeport, Arashi made a splash in the local city papers when she first bought a mansion worth $7 million from under a Landgraab in an auction and got real cozy, much to the old money family's embarrassment. Subsequently her business deal details from that point forward became very public and a personal assistant became a necessity to prevent leaks. After hiring Alex, the business picked up and Arashi is in desperate need of a housekeeper, which Alex recommends Angela/Gable for.
Mori Hanzo is coincidentally the twins mutual best friend from high school. While 'the popularity twins" went off to Britechester to start college, Mori left the pastoral vistas of Pleasantview, their hometown, in his rearview to pursue drag in the fortuitous city of Bridgeport. He reconnects with Angela Pleasant when she's searching for a new apartment to move into, in Bridgeport. Mori is an adopted orphan, so he recommends Angela go back to University where their family owns a house, but she refuses. Mori helps her on one condition, that she join his support group, where they meet Tomoya.
Mimi Landgraab (20) is a spoiled passenger princess in every sense that she oversees the family money laundering operation, but has no power to make executive decisions. Mimi's ego is nothing short of sociopathic with a sense of humor to match. She will use anything and ANYONE to satisfy her greedy means, and make an example of all who get in her way. She is the self proclaimed Haus of Muzaán's "greatest rival in fashion" and is also the co-owner of the largest annual Entertainment event and venue planner of Bridgeport. Mimi has never worn the same thing twice.
Malcolm Landgraab IV (41) is shit wrapped in a three piece suit. He is the VERY prodigal son of a family who let every single one of his "million dollar ideas" end up in the corner of every garage on every property they own (privately). So when his parents died and left Malcolm's inheritance to his daughter, Mimi's conservatorship, everyone in high society laughed him into oblivion all the way back to Oasis Springs where his family treats him like a black hole. He and Mimi have a functionally dysfunctional relationship in that he created the monster that she is from his own seed, but he also looks up to Mimi as if HE is HER kid, and not the other way around.
(Edit: 5/19)
Kitae "Tae" Gugki (25) Tae is a bit of a regular kind of guy. He is kind, mellow and laid back; but a tentative boyfriend to Mori Hanzo. They are in the honeymoon phase of their relationship when Angela/Gable first crash lands in Bridgeport, which causes tension in their otherwise functional relationship. Both Tae and Mori are only just becoming comfortable accepting their sexuality and their mutual support system becomes very strained after Angela's reintroduction into Mori's life, and by extension, Tae's.
Creature/Creeper/(Name unknown and age assumed in their late 40s Early 50s) This wayward stalker seems to campily find themselves constantly lurking outside windows or in bushes waiting to surprise Angela. Creeper, as they are called by Angela after a few strange and inexplicable encounters, is treated basically as a "wrong number" by everyone. Angela is kind to the stranger upon first impression. She buys them lunch over a misunderstanding, once. However, after they keep popping up in the most inopportune situations, with more than bizarre excuses, Angela is completely creeped out. She only confides in Tomoya and Mori about "Creature" but no one else has ever seen this person.
I hope it has piqued your attention. I haven't given away much, plotwise, but if you know where this is going, it's going to be a roller coaster ride😂!
The title is a work in progress and I came up with it on the fly like "Sense & Sensibility" but idk. It needs a soundtrack vibe so that might be the key.
Someday I'm going to make it into a webtoon. *Sigh* keep me prayed up for that. See you soon!
