Kidnapping is a very real issue in Secondlife, and it's getting worse. I must be somewhat of a popular kid -I guess- because I've been snatched at, grabbed at and people have even attempted to collar and take me as a slave (on a few separate occasions). 

Gor is a built-in part of Secondlife culture, but these days, nobody real or virtual cares as much about BDSM OR RP rules so much as they care about phishing an account full of Lindens or otherwise. So, unless I'm doing something objective, my incognito solution is to dress down... Well, technically.

 I've gone back to using the standard SL avatar. She might be primitive, but looking like a "pixel pauper" at least makes these anywhos disinterested in trying to steal you, your account OR your swag. Just FYI.

I haven't been able to wear painted on clothes for years, so I find it refreshing to go back to the old SL Style in this way. That being said, the SL Marketplace economy is getting rough. Who knows what's next to come. My advice? Keep your head down.
